This is the bread starter that comes to you in a gallon zip lock bag. You "feed" the starter over a period of days. It grows. You squish the bag, let the air out and watch it multiply.
I did the unthinkable. I left the bag home alone for a day and a night. Here is what I came home to:

How is it that friendship bread grows like crazy when you leave it alone and unattended but friendships don't? But then there's no fun in being neglected friends now is there? =)
Funny that you posted this. I've been wanting to make this bread but don't know how to start the starter and somehow I don't think anyone close by would have it to give me. Can you send me some?
