How Great is Our God!

Last night we watched a message by Louie Giglio. Wow.

It's a "big" reminder of the largeness of this God we serve.

It's a message that "right sizes God".

It's a message that made me want to fall at the feet of Jesus, and lay there on the ground, awestruck.

It's a message that made me want to stand in His presence on tiptoe with my eyes closed and my hands high in the air.

It's a message that made me want to fall to my knees before Him and weep.

It's a message that made me want to dance a wild exuberant dance, all the while laughing out loud, just for the joy of it.

I guess you just gotta' see it. If by now you're dying of curiosity, go here. How Great is Our God!

It's about 40 minutes long. You can either download it, or you can just watch it online.

Come back and let me know what you think. . .

Yes, yes, yes to all you said!!! How wonderful it is to be given a view of God that is more worthy of Him ~ bigger, more beautiful, more wise and capable than we can even stretch our minds to imagine! I'm so glad you got to see this and were blessed by it!

Hi Carol! I found you through Rhonda's blog. Hope you don't mind if I come often. =) I've spent a bit of time over the past few weeks reading all you've written so far. I have been challenged, blessed and encouraged. Some of the things you do with your kids have inspired me to do some of the things that don't come easy for me...forgetting the house work and just having tea and a good talk, for one. And I plan to listen to the sermon you mentioned just as soon as I can find a few quiet moments. ( Are those as rare for you asthey are for me?) Ever since moving here to Poplar Hill I find myself extremely soul-hungry and longing for good words to feed on. I'd love to pick your brain and hear your heart concerning your "Reserve Life" years. It's all so new to me and I struggle to know what my kids are feeling and thinking at times. And since you were a kid in their exact shoes at one point....
Sorry this has gotten long enough to be a letter of sorts. =) I don't get my quota of words in very often these days. =)

Ah Sister~~~~

I'm with you!!! I just watched it a second time yesterday with Jules and Kaylyn M.

I just want to see it many times more! It's really fun to watch with someone else who hasn't seen it yet...the numbers and Louie's terrific way of scaling the sizes so our brains can try to connect with the immensity had us laughing and crying in awe.

I was delighted with the thought of how our God is allowing recent technology to reveal more and more the wonders of His Person. Oh that we would be preoccupied with HIM!!!

With so much love...AND...ehhm....a very real "need" to see some of my dear family SOON~~~~ :)
Esther

P.S. Carol, you are a precious and wonderful mommy. May Jesus bless you with His ongoing creativity as you draw out the hearts of your 5 little worlds for His glory! I absolutely love your teatime idea. I could see the radiant delight on their sweet faces in your little movie clip of teatime. ;)
